Riverside Tree Trail

This is Grow Batheaston’s first tree trail map. It is based on a circular walk between Batheaston riverside car park and the toll bridge. The numbers on the map represent interesting trees and the notes identify and provide some information about them.

The walk is about 2km long and includes a kissing gate and (avoidable) cattle grid but no steps.

Several shops and businesses in the village have copies of the free leaflet, or you can download and print your own copy here.

If you want to find out more about the trees, visit The Woodland Trust, or Forestry England.

There are many more interesting trails nearby. You can find several on the Bath Urban Treescape website including two versions of one in Alice Park - Alice’s Arboretum and Alice’s Arboretum Family Friendly.
